Websites for barbers

Websites for barbers. Tick what yours needs.

Most barbers' sites need a few of the same things. Tick the ones yours does and watch them go on. I'll build the real one around your shop.

Booking is what decides it

If people book online, it's a Business site, because that's the package booking comes with. If you're walk-ins only and people mainly need to find you, Starter covers it.

Not sure? Pick either. I'll tell you on the call which one fits, even if it's the cheaper one.

FAQ

Questions barbers ask

Can people book without ringing me?

Yes, on a Business site. Online booking is set up for you as part of the package, so people can book a chair from the site instead of ringing the shop.

I already take bookings through Fresha or Square. Can I keep it?

Yes. If you already take bookings through something like Fresha or Square, I'll point your Book button straight at it. If you want them talking to each other more deeply than that, it comes under Integrations, and I'll quote it once I know what you use.

Can I start on Starter and move up later?

Yes. What you paid for Starter comes off Business, so you only pay the difference. If you only want one part of it, like booking, I'll quote just that, which is often less.

How do I change my prices when they go up?

Send them to me. Small changes, anything up to about half an hour, are $45 each, or they're covered by the care plan at $99 a month. If you'd rather do it yourself, the edit it yourself add-on is a one-off $399 and gives you a simple editor for your text, photos, prices and opening hours.

Can my latest Instagram posts show on the site?

It's possible, but it isn't included. Showing your latest posts means connecting to Instagram's own system, so it comes under the Integrations add-on, which I quote. Tell me on the call and I'll say what it takes. Linking to your Instagram from the site is no problem at all.

How long does it take?

Starter sites usually take 1 to 3 weeks and Business sites 2 to 4, from the day you say yes. Having your text and photos ready is the biggest thing that speeds it up.

Who hosts it?

You do, in your own accounts. I set up the hosting and domain with you, put the site live and hand everything over. If you host on Vercel, which is what I'd recommend, it's $20 a month, or $40 a month if you add me to your Vercel team.

Do you write the words and find the photos?

You supply the text, photos and logo. If you'd like help with the writing, copywriting is an add-on I can do for you. I don't do photography, though.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once it's paid in full, the site and the code I wrote for it are yours. A few things are licensed rather than owned, like fonts, stock photos and tools I reuse across projects, and I'll list those in your agreement.

Ticked what it needs? Let's build the real one.

Your name, your colours and your ticks come with you to the form, so I'll know what you're after before we talk. I usually reply within 24 hours.
